Sami Ullah Portfolio — Desktop app

A desktop companion for this portfolio, built with Tauri 2: a Rust shell around a React and TypeScript interface. Using the system web view instead of bundling a browser keeps the installer small and the app quick to start.

It reads the same live content as the website through the shared REST API, with an overview dashboard, the project library, skills, experience, résumé, app downloads and a contact form. A strict content security policy limits it to this site's own servers.

Installers are built for every platform by a GitHub Actions workflow: a universal .dmg for Apple silicon and Intel Macs, an installer for Windows, and AppImage and .deb packages for Linux.
